Tysta Hood

Thick fog sweeps across meadows, a cool wind blows gently across the face and the world is shrouded in silence. Tysta, the Swedish word for this quiet moment. And also a fitting name for the pretty hood that softly and delicately covers the head. Silence.
The Tysta Hood with the pretty slip stitch pattern is worked starting at the top. After picking up new stitches along the sides, the hood is further knitted in one piece up to the neck and the work is then finished in rounds. A simple cuff around the hood opening completes the understated look.
