The light, slender shawl in the shape of a flat, symmetrical triangle is worked back and forth in stockinette stitch, except for the edge stitches, and starts at the lower tip. It widens rapidly towards the top, due to the increases made in each row, after the first and before the last 6 stitches (edge pattern).
