Theresa Wrap
Designed by Lisa Hannes / malihadesigns

A beautiful arrangement of cables and dotted ribs creates a fascinating, textured fabric on this cozy wrap.

The cable pattern may seem complex at first, but she designed it in a way that lets you only use two different cables arranged in a very intuitive way, so it’s actually fairly easy to knit.

Theresa Wrap is a long sideways-knit shawl. You start knitting at one tip (short edge), then work your way across to the opposite tip, creating an elongated tapered shape with a straight middle part.

She made her original sample with a bulky weight yarn from Lamana’s “superlight” series, which means even though it’s a pretty large wrap worked in thick yarn it doesn’t feel heavy at all.

The pattern provides lots of options for easy adjustments if you wish to use a different yarn weight or make a smaller/ larger shawl according to the available yardage.

Fully written row-by-row as well as charted instructions are provided so you can choose which you prefer to work from.
