The double-layered hat with a simple cable pattern is started at one tip and is worked continuously in the round. Increases are used to achieve the final width, then the hat is worked to a length of approx. 68 cm/26.8” without further increases. Decreases from the second tip of the hat. One half of the hat is pulled inwards, creating the double-layered hat and the wide lower edge is then turned up.
