A simple design with a touch of romance inspired by the beautiful blossoms of lilac in spring. 

The lace pattern is reminiscent of the fine flowers rising towards the sun. The pretty scarf is worked flat across the full width, starting with the beautiful lace pattern, this is easy to remember but requires a little concentration. The scarf then gets its semicircular shape through very simple German short rows and finally has a small I-cord edge.
