The casual, open blazer jacket is worked bottom up, double stranded and seamless in one piece until the armholes. Pockets are worked and fitted in simultaneously. The textured pattern of only knit and purl stitches looks like a herringbone pattern and is described in a chart. The lapel is worked together with the front pieces, the collar is casted on and worked after joining the shoulders. The jacket also suits well as a short coat and can easily be closed with a quilt needle or a belt.
