The close-fitting jacket with a graphic all-over colorwork is worked seamlessly from the top down starting at the accentuated shoulder line in the upper back (French shoulder). The two front pieces are knitted out of this shoulder line in the opposite direction. Below the armholes, front and back are joined and knitted up to the lower edge in the previous pattern. The lower cuff is worked in a narrower and contrasting colorwork pattern and cast off with a “no-roll bind-off”; the sleeves are knitted on and worked from the top down. The double collar is knitted on, then folded inwards and sewn on, the double front bands are knitted afterwards and the zipper is sewn into these double bands.

• Circular needles size 3.25 mm and 3.5 mm (US 3 and 4), each in 80-100 cm length
