The Francesca Sweater has an oversize cut and is knitted from the top down. First, the back is worked flat and the shoulder slant is formed with increases. Then pick up stitches along the shoulders to knit the left and right front. Until the end of the armholes, the front and back are worked flat, the body in the round. The sleeves, where German short rows guarantee a comfortable fit, are knitted on and worked in the round. The collar with a 1x1 rib pattern is also knitted on.
The sweater can be knitted in two variants:. Single-stranded with Bergamo (darker version) or with three strands (two strands Milano, one strand Premia) held together (brighter version).
